Bob Irwin had a better idea.  He left the comfort of his corporate job, like so many entrepreneurs before him.  In 1973, Bob opened for business in Oklahoma City at the Liberty Tower.

Bob grew Irwin Business Machines based on his core philosophy: " Keep it simple and communicate with your customers.”  Bob would frequently show up with a technician, bringing something to share that he knew would help the client.  

 

Bob and Jo Ann Irwin had a vision and now that Bob is no longer with us, JoAnn is now The Chairman of the Board.

A Message from the CEO of Irwin Business Machines

Michelle Gum joined Irwin Business Machines  22 years ago.  She learned the business by working alongside her father, Bob Irwin.  As a core part of Irwin, Michelle has managed operations and finance.  Michelle has learned many things over the years; most importantly, her team is dedicated to customer success.  

As a 2nd Generation owner and CEO, Michelle aims to continue providing excellent customer service.  Some of the ways she will do this are:

  • Save Customers Money:
    Michelle understands that service agreements save customers money over time. She wants to ensure that all customers are able to obtain a tailored service agreement.  
  • Increase Customers Access :
    Providing that access starts with Irwin's new website.  Our customers can book repairs or services online.  The new website also helps by providing specific information for the best copiers in the world, Canon copiers.  Call us and let us know what you need in a printer, and we will get you the specifications for a couple of machines that fit your needs
  • Listen to Customer: 
    Michelle's plan to personally visit every customer in the next 12 months is a testament to her commitment to understanding their unique needs and goals. This personal approach ensures that Irwin can provide the right solutions when they are needed.
